Racine: Car crashes into building, bursts into flames

RACINE — A car crashed into a building and burst into flames in Racine early Saturday morning, February 6th.

The wreck happened at 5th and Main St. in Racine just after 2:30 a.m. The fire department was quickly called to the scene — and put the fire out.

Two people in the car were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

The crash caused about $40,000 in damage to the building.

The incident is under investigation.
