Green Bay Packers re-sign defensive tackle Letroy Guion

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers have re-signed defensive tackle Letroy Guion, the team announced on Friday, February 12th.

ESPN Staff Writer Rob Demovsky reported Guion was signed to a three-year contract worth $11.25 million.

Guion has started 20 of 29 regular-season games for the Packers over the past two seasons, recording 103 tackles (45 solo), 3½ sacks, one pass defensed and a forced fumble.  Before joining Green Bay, Guion played six seasons for Minnesota after being selected out of Florida State by the Vikings in the fifth round (No. 152 overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. For his career, Guion has played in 97 regular-season games with 51 starts and has registered 232 tackles (110 solo), 8½ sacks, four passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He has started three of five postseason contests he has played in, recording 22 tackles and a half-sack.
