Racine police: Pizza delivery man robbed of cash by man with pistol

RACINE -- Racine police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver that happened on Tuesday evening, February 16th.

Officials say they responded to the Domino's Pizza on Washington Ave. shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Officers spoke with the driver who said he was attempting to make a delivery in the neighborhood near Olive and Virginia Streets when he was confronted by a single suspect. That suspect aimed a pistol at him and demanding money. The delivery driver stated he gave the suspect money, and the suspect fled. The delivery driver was not injured.

The suspect is described as a male, black, approximately 20-25 years old, about 5' to 5'5", wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
