Three 17-year-olds arrested following attempted robbery in Racine

RACINE -- Three 17-year-olds were arrested in connection to two attempted burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 17th in Racine.

According to the Racine Police Department, officers responded to an attempted burglary call at the Jo Jo's Quick Market located on 16th Street in Racine. A suspect was found in the area and arrested.

Police say after further investigation, two other suspects believed to have participated in the attempted robberies were identified. Authorities also discovered their participation in an additional burglary at Your Sweet Shop located on Memorial Drive -- prior to the Quick Market incident.
