MUSKEGO --  Muskego police said late on Wednesday night, February 24th all suspects were in custody after a pursuit ended in a neighborhood there. This, after an officer-involved shooting in Walworth County.

Earlier Wednesday, police said they were searching for "a remaining suspect" who fled the scene after the pursuit ended in a crash.

Police said they "appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents inconvenienced by this incident."

Walworth County Sheriff's officials say this all began around 5:30 p.m. in East Troy.

An officer with the East Troy Police Department made contact with a vehicle in the parking lot of the Roma's Restaurant in East Troy.

During the course of the investigation, a Walworth County Sheriff's deputy discharged his department-issued firearm.

The suspect vehicle fled the Roma's Restaurant and proceeded north on I-43 towards Milwaukee.

A pursuit was initiated by the Walworth County Sheriff's Department -- with speeds reaching more than 100 miles-per-hour.

Pursuing officers conducted a PIT maneuver, and the pursuit was terminated in Muskego -- near Durham Place and Hidden Creek Court.

Officials with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department told FOX6 News they assisted Walworth County Sheriff's officials with the pursuit, once it entered Waukesha County.

Officials were looking for at least one suspect after the pursuit ended in Muskego. It wasn't immediately clear exactly how many were in custody.

The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a press conference regarding this incident Thursday, February 25th.

Please fill us in on the facts of why the Police “broke out shooting”. Typically the cops just don’t walk up on a vehicle and start shooting the occupants….

2 of them are in my family by marriage., and I knew the young man shot and killed. he was a clean kid that didn’t do drugs, ganbang, none of that. the other 3 needed a ride and asked this young man if he would take them out there. the police DID NOT shoot first. a man named paul pulled out the gun and shot at officers first. why? I don’t know. as far as the jokesters with there stupid lame comments.. a young mans life was lost . this could have happened to anyone.. he thought he was just giving a ride. not to go rob someone. THAT I KNOW. my heart goes out to christophers family.. he didn’t deserve to be shot & killed. its ALWAYS the innocent bystander that pays the price with there life because of a dumbass with a gun. ~

Its funny that the “Good Kids” are always in the wrong place at the wrong time with a gun or friends with guns… All I have to say is keep your Inner City Low Life POS Bannger ways in Milwaukee County, we do not need more trash overflowing to Walworth County. Just remember that a lot of country folk own guns and carry them.

      JP54147,

I love this comment. I live in Muskego, not to far from where the last person was located. If they tried to force their way into my home, they would have been met with my arsenal. No doubt about that! Act like a little hoodlum, get treated like one.

    R.Carter,
What grade level did you actually accomplish?
Do you talk like you write?
These thugs, regardless of what color they are, were breaking the law.
What is it that you don’t understand?

Why isn’t anyone reporting that someone was killed? Every story I see is that all four are in custody. Nothing about a death or any death investigation?? That seems very odd -not saying it isn’t true or he didn’t die at the hospital, but this would be very big news! Strange!

Good kid, my arse. If you hang with thugs then you are a thug. When you do thug things and try to hurt the police, you get hurt. Good riddance to the turd. The world is a safer place now.

  • Titi Nicky to Chris

Please get the facts straight before speaking what you don’t know. Everyone is just making assumptions & you know what happens when you do that, you make an ass of yourself. The 3 victims were unarmed and therefore no reason for a shootout, this is why they jumped into the car, because they feared for their lives.waiting to hear how everything unrails. We live you Chris & will let no one defamate your name. You were a very caring, smart, loving, thoughtful, friendly, playful well dressed & happy go lucky kid, who didn’t run the streets, did drugs or participated in drug related or drug activities. Those who knew you know what I’m talking about. The truth will come out. Gone but never ever 4gotten nephew in-law.

    • Titi Nicky to Chris

Also, the question is why did police shoot at unarmed men? Where ever the truth leads us Chris’ name will not be defamated nor him made out to be a criminal. The truth shall set you free Chris. Love you.
