Pursuit ends in Muskego after officer-involved shooting in East Troy; all suspects in custody



MUSKEGO --  Muskego police said late on Wednesday night, February 24th all suspects were in custody after a pursuit ended in a neighborhood there. This, after an officer-involved shooting in Walworth County.

Earlier Wednesday, police said they were searching for "a remaining suspect" who fled the scene after the pursuit ended in a crash.

Police said they "appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents inconvenienced by this incident."

Walworth County Sheriff's officials say this all began around 5:30 p.m. in East Troy.

An officer with the East Troy Police Department made contact with a vehicle in the parking lot of the Roma's Restaurant in East Troy.

During the course of the investigation, a Walworth County Sheriff's deputy discharged his department-issued firearm.

The suspect vehicle fled the Roma's Restaurant and proceeded north on I-43 towards Milwaukee.

A pursuit was initiated by the Walworth County Sheriff's Department -- with speeds reaching more than 100 miles-per-hour.

Pursuing officers conducted a PIT maneuver, and the pursuit was terminated in Muskego -- near Durham Place and Hidden Creek Court.

Officials with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department told FOX6 News they assisted Walworth County Sheriff's officials with the pursuit, once it entered Waukesha County.

Officials were looking for at least one suspect after the pursuit ended in Muskego. It wasn't immediately clear exactly how many were in custody.

The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a press conference regarding this incident Thursday, February 25th.
