Midwest snow storm: Most flights from Milwaukee to Chicago canceled

MILWAUKEE -- A winter storm passing to the south and east of Wisconsin Wednesday, February 24th created headaches for air travelers -- especially those with connections in Chicago.

A spokesperson with Mitchell International Airport said the majority of flights from Milwaukee to Chicago were cancelled because of the storm. As far as arrivals on Wednesday evening, five of the remaining six flights coming from O’Hare to Milwaukee were cancelled.

Two flights that were diverted to Mitchell Airport were able to fly down to O’Hare Wednesday evening.  Three other flights that were “on time” departing from Mitchell Airport to Chicago were also able to fly on to Chicago.

Travelers were encouraged to check with MitchellAirport.com for updates on arrival and departure times.
