Police: Man shot, wounded after altercation near 32nd & Villard

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 32nd and Villard early on Saturday, February 27th.

Officials say a preliminary investigation reveals around 1:15 a.m. an altercation erupted for an unknown reason. The altercation escalated into gunshots being fired at the adult male victim.

The victim received a graze wound from a bullet. He is being treated at a hospital and is expected to survive.
