GLENDALE — Astronautics Corp. of America of Milwaukee reportedly is in talks to buy or lease a large office building in Glendale as it launches a new search for a site to consolidate its headquarters and other operations.

The company has a history of scouting the region for a new headquarters to replace its building at 4115 N. Teutonia Ave. in Milwaukee. Its last attempts were about six years ago and set off a competition between developers and communities for the high-tech company and its hundreds of jobs.

Astronautics president Chad Cundiff confirmed the company is looking for locations to consolidate its headquarters offices and other operations. He declined to discuss which locations are under review.
