Racine police: Investigation underway after shooting victim showed up at hospital

RACINE -- Racine police are investigating after a shooting victim showed up at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care on Friday, March 18th. Police say the victim is a 20-year-old man.

Authorities were notified around 4:33 a.m.

The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting did not occurred in the City of Racine. Racine Police Department investigators are working closely with investigators in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to determine exactly what occurred.

This incident is considered an active investigation.
