"What we`ve done is purchase informational signs that will be placed in bus shelters which will give people a phone number and website where they can get information on Wisconsin's voter photo ID law," Joe Czarnezki, Milwaukee County clerk said.

Czarnezki said with the election on April 5th, it is important voters have the proper photo ID to vote, and that they bring it with them to the polls.

The signs have been placed on bus shelters in certain areas of the city -- and this was done strategically.

"Bus shelters were chosen because people who ride the bus probably don`t have a driver`s license, so we want to make sure these people have the proper ID when they go to the polls on election day," Czarnezki said.

"I feel like if you don`t vote, then you don`t have no voice. I feel like you should go out there and vote no matter what. Old people, young people, just vote so you can have an opinion about something that can change your life," Jacob Shaw-Downey said.

The voter ID law requires that voters in Wisconsin bring a valid photo ID to the polls. That can be a driver's license, a valid state ID card, a United States passport, military or tribal ID or college ID with proof of enrollment.
