West Bend police: Intoxicated woman arrested for rear-ending vehicle in Taco Bell drive-thru

WEST BEND — A 46-year-old West Bend woman was arrested for drunk driving after she rear-ended another vehicle in a Taco Bell drive-thru line in West Bend.

The incident occurred Thursday night, March 31st around 11:00 p.m.

According to the West Bend Police Department, while in the drive-thru lane of the Taco Bell restaurant located at 1307 S. Main Street, the 46-year-old woman rear-ended another customer waiting in line and became involved in a verbal argument with them.

Police say the 46-year-old woman failed the standardized field sobriety tests and had a B.A.C. of .188.

The woman was arrested for OWI.

No other details have been released.

    That sucks. Similar thing happened to me too, but it no cops were called and no damage was done.

    Taco Bell sounds great when you’re drunk, so I get why people flock to it. But yeah, don’t drive drunk and if you’re desperate for Taco Bell when drunk…call an Uber/Lyft or Taxi if it’s that important. I;m sure they’ll take the fare, I’ve seen it done.
