Kenosha police seek suspect(s) after man shot & hurt in parking lot across from tavern

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a tavern early on Sunday morning, April 3rd.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m., police were called to the hospital for a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound. This, as Kenosha County Sheriff's officials responded to the "Upper Deck Tavern," located on Sheridan Road near 12th Avenue for a report of shots fired.

An investigation revealed an altercation occurred inside the tavern.

Those involved in that altercation left the tavern, and walked across the street to the "Alford Park" parking lot. That's where police believe the shots were fired and the 21-year-old man was hit. He is expected to survive.

The investigation is ongoing.
