Search for missing teenage girl from Illinois; may be in Kenosha area

LAKE COUNTY, Illinois — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to located missing 14-year-old girl. Jolynn Sanders of Wadsworth, IL was last seen on April 1st leaving her home on foot.

Sanders is 5′ 2″, 110 pounds, with green eyes and blond hair. She has scars on her left forearm and legs. Sanders was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, white Nike shoes, and was carrying a Jansport tie-dye backpack.

Officials say it is possible Sanders is somewhere in Lake County or in the Kenosha area.

Anyone with information on Sanders’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 847-549-5200.
