WHITEFISH BAY — Whitefish Bay High School has been ranked the number one high school in Wisconsin by U.S. News & World Report.

In the 2016 U.S. News Best High Schools report, 64 Wisconsin high schools earned silver medals, and 95 earned bronze.

There were five gold medal schools in Wisconsin, according to the report.

According to the report, Wisconsin boasts a graduation rate of close to 90 percent.

    If you don’t have to worry about your next meal and things like safety , guess poor communities might have had a shot at ranking for best schools. It’s kind of hard to excell at academics when your basic needs are lacking
