MILWAUKEE -- The last of the ice at the BMO Harris Bradley Center was removed on Friday morning, April 29th.

The process of removing the ice began on Thursday afternoon. Pass by pass, a Zamboni scraped away the ice the Milwaukee Admirals have skated on for years. The Admirals will be moving to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena next season.

Before the ice was melted down, folks had one last opportunity to skate on last Sunday afternoon. Ice events began at the BMO Harris Bradley Center back in 1988. The Pettit Ice Center helped make Sunday's farewell skate possible.

"Everything from NCAA hockey championships -- we've had three of those. We've had 30 Olympic skating championships. We've had 10 Badger hockey showdowns," Paul Jansen, VP of the BMO Harris Bradley Center said.
