Police: Milwaukee man arrested, accused of robbing two fast food restaurants

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police made a quick arrest and took a suspect into custody for two robberies at local fast food restaurants.

District Three officers responded to the Burger King at 5812 W. Lisbon Avenue around 5:00 p.m. on April 28th for a report of an armed robbery. A male suspect went into the restaurant armed with a gun, demanded money from the cashier, and fled from the scene with the money.

As the suspect was leaving the building, District Three officers arrived and arrested him. They also recovered a 9mm gun from the suspect.

It’s believed the same suspect, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, is responsible for an attempted armed robbery at the Wendy’s at 633 W. North Avenue around 3:25 p.m. that same day.

MPD will present these cases to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
