The charity event that's challenging local chefs to think outside the box
MILWAUKEE -- Local chefs are being challenged to get creative with fast food ingredients -- and it's all for a good cause. Lynda Kohler of SHARP Literacy joins Real Milwaukee with the details.

SHARP Literacy enhances future life success by energizing urban children, motivating them to identify themselves as confident, capable scholars and lifelong learners by inspiring engagement in reading, writing and research through hands-on interaction and visual arts.
Since 1996 , SHARP Literacy has been providing students with opportunities to develop a wide range of skills – reading, writing, oral communications, research, creating thinking and problem solving – SHARP creates a solid foundation for future learning and success. Based on pre- and post- vocabulary assessments 72% of all SHARP students improve their vocabulary by four or more words. SHARP currently serves approximately 7,000 students in grades K5-5.
