Baltimore School Board unanimously votes to replace Gregory Thornton, former MPS superintendent

BALTIMORE/MILWAUKEE -- Former Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Gregory Thornton is stepping down from his latest job as head of Baltimore Schools.

Thornton was there for less than two years.

The Baltimore School Board unanimously voted to replace him.

Board members said it was a personnel matter, and that Thornton did a good job.
