Pewaukee man wins $2,000,000 in Powerball lottery

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Pewaukee resident Shawn Cushman is the lucky winner of a $2,000,000 prize from the Saturday, March 26th Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cardinal Service in Hartland. Lottery officials say retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2% of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.

The winning Powerball numbers from March 26th were 11, 23, 42, 52 and 68 with a Powerball of 6. The Power Play number was 3. The winning ticket matched the five regular numbers, but not the Powerball. The player also chose the Power Play option which automatically increases their winnings to $2 million.

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday, May 4th. The jackpot is estimated at $348 million ($226.1 million cash). Tickets must be purchased by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday to be included in the drawing:
