Police: Please stop calling alleged meth dealer's phone while we search it

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Police in an Ohio city are asking for a small favor - please stop calling an alleged drug dealer's cell phone.

The City of Alliance police department posted the request on their Facebook page.

The man was arrested by detectives for allegedly selling crystal meth.

Police say they have his phone and are trying to read all the texts requesting drugs and are going through his contacts with his permission.

They want everyone calling the suspect to know he is all out of drugs.

Secondly, don’t call him. Officers will come to you soon enough.

They also wanted to point out that the suspect’s ringtone is terrible.
