Road construction continues: DOT provides update on upcoming projects

MILWAUKEE -- Work continues on the Zoo Interchange project. Ryan Luck with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to talk about everything that's going to impact your commute.

Zoo Interchange Project:

Monday, May 9
Overnight Full Closure of I-41/894 North at National Avenue for UPRR Bridge Deck Pour (11pm - 4:30am)
(we talked about this item last week and it was rescheduled due to weather conditions)

Tuesday, May 10
Overnight Full Closure of the system ramp from I-94 West to I-41 North for barrier wall work (11pm - 4:30am)

WIS 67 Project

This is a look ahead to next week Sunday night in to Monday morning (overnight 5/15 into Monday Morning 5/16).

The I-94 West exit ramp to WIS 67 will be fully closed on the morning of Monday 5/16 until mid-late June.

Motorists should exit one exit earlier at Sawer Road. If they miss the Sawyer Road exit it is 10 miles to the County F / Sullivan exit so we would like to highlight this closure and detour both this Friday and next Friday.

Hoan Bridge Project (if time permits)

The Broadway Ramp to I-794 East (Southbound) will be closed nightly (5/9-5/13). Motorists should use Water Street or I-43 South to access areas on the south end of the Hoan Bridge on these nights.
