MENOMONEE FALLS — Authorities responded to a semi truck fully engulfed in flames near the intersection of Silver Spring Drive and Lannon Road in Menomonee Falls Friday afternoon, May 6th.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m.

According to police, the truck came from a company out of Sussexx. It was carrying bottled and canned water.

Officials say the driver started to have engine trouble. When the engine started smoking, the driver got out and the truck started on fire.

FOX6 viewer Jerry Michaelson shared the following videos of the incident (WARNING: Some videos may contain some strong language)

According to Michaelson, he was playing golf at the country club near where the fire happened. He says he saw pieces of the truck explode — including a tire and something underneath the engine.
