MILWAUKEE — Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened in Milwaukee on Sunday night, May 8th.

It happened near 28th and Brown just before 9:00 p.m.

Police say a 26-year-old man from Milwaukee was shot during an altercation in the street. The suspect fled the scene after the shooting.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of a serious injury.
