76-year-old bicyclist struck by hit-and-run driver on April 22nd dies at the hospital

MILWAUKEE COUNTY — A bicyclist struck by a hit-and-run driver on April 22nd died on Friday, May 6th, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The victim has been identified as 76-year-old Jaroslav Strouhal, of Greenfield.

Greenfield police say Strouhal was hit near 35th and Loomis Road. He was then taken to Froedtert Hospital where he developed complications from his injuries and was placed on life support.

Police believe he was struck by a truck or passenger van.
