Pack of green thumbs: New trees planted at Glendale's Parkway Elementary School thanks to Cub Scouts

GLENDALE -- It was a busy day for a local group of Cub Scouts.

About 20 kids from Cub Scout Pack 393 spent Saturday morning, May 14th planting trees outside the Parkway Elementary School in Glendale.

The event was sponsored by the school and in total, the kids planted about ten trees.

Besides helping the school and the environment, the boys are working to earn their next rank by completing community service tasks.
