MFD officials: Ambulance, vehicle collide in intersection near 92nd and Oklahoma

MILWAUKEE — Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department tell FOX6 News an ambulance and a vehicle collided near 92nd and Oklahoma on Sunday, May 15th.

The ambulance was apparently carrying a patient to a hospital in Milwaukee. That patient was placed in another ambulance and taken to Froedtert Hospital after the crash.

Officials say occupants in the other vehicle were taken by West Allis Fire Department ambulance to a hospital in Milwaukee. It’s unclear how many people from that vehicle had to be transported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

    i see idiot drivers all of the time not yielding to ambulances/fire trucks. They always try to gun thru the intersection when they see one coming
