Crash involving vehicle and ambulance in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department tell FOX6 News an ambulance and a vehicle collided near 92nd and Oklahoma on Sunday, May 15th.

The ambulance was carrying a patient that had been involved in a motorcycle crash to a hospital in Milwaukee. That patient was placed in another ambulance and taken to Froedtert Hospital after the crash.

Officials with the Mukwonago Fire Department told FOX6 News on Tuesday, May 17th that the patient has died.

Milwaukee police are handling the investigation into the crash and will determine whether the ambulance accident caused the patient’s death.
