Judge denies appeal to reduce bail for Morgan Geyser, charged in 'Slenderman stabbing'

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A judge has turned down an appeal for one of two girls charged in the Slenderman stabbing case.

14-year-old Morgan Geyser filed an appeal asking to have her bail reduced from $500,000.

Her request had previously been rejected, citing concerns about public safety.

Geyser and Anissa Weier are each accused of trying to kill a classmate in May of 2014 -- stabbing her 19 times in an attempt to please the fictional character Slenderman.

Both of the girls face one count of attempted first degree intentional homicide as party to a crime.
