WEST ALLIS — West Allis police say a motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Monday night, May 23rd after a vehicle that was fleeing from police collided with the motorcycle near 60th and Madison.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for several traffic law violations near 60th and National. The vehicle did not stop, and a short pursuit ensued, which lasted less than 30 seconds before it was terminated by the officer.

The fleeing vehicle then collided with the motorcycle — and the suspect continued fleeing, not stopping after the crash.

The motorcyclist suffered what are believed to be minor injuries, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police are now seeking the suspect vehicle — described as a late 1990s gold/tan Toyota Camry with tinted windows, a broken tail lamp on the driver’s side and a red dealership plate.

It was last seen headed northbound on S. 60th Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
