FOND DU LAC — A judge has sentenced a Fond du Lac woman to life in prison for killing her husband in 2013 and dumping his body in Milwaukee.

Eve Nance was convicted in January of killing Timothy Nance. Authorities say she shot her husband twice while he was in the shower on Nov. 1, 2013, while he was getting ready to meet a girlfriend. His naked body was found that Thanksgiving Day in a wooded area on a dead end street in Milwaukee.

The defense says she suffered from battered person syndrome and that her husband flaunted multiple girlfriends in front of her, even bringing them home, until one day she cracked.

In court Friday, Eve Nance said she still loves her husband and doesn’t know exactly what sparked her to kill him.
