Police: Man shot, hurt near 6th and Wisconsin in downtown Milwaukee; MPD seeks suspect

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 6th and Wisconsin in downtown Milwaukee on Tuesday evening, May 31st.

We’re told one person, a 24-year-old man, was shot at that location around 5:30 p.m., and suffered what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

Police are now seeking a suspect — a man in his 20s.


The shooting is believed to have happened in a building in the area.

The victim was able to get to a hospital on his own.
