Westown Farmers’ Market opens in downtown Milwaukee Wednesday

MILWAUKEE — The Westown Farmers’ Market returns to Zeidler Union Square on Wednesday, June 1st. It is billed as downtown Milwaukee’s oldest and largest open-air market.

Zeidler Union Square is located at 301 W. Michigan Street. Shoppers will be able to enjoy a variety of lunch, prepared food and handcrafted art & jewelry vendors, every Wednesday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. June 1 – October 26.

Market organizers say it will feature more than 50 vendors selling seasonal Wisconsin grown produce as it becomes available throughout the season.

Officials say new this year, shoppers can enjoy the additional seating and lawn games during their visit.
