Lucky Powerball player holding $50,000 winning ticket purchased in Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA — One lucky Wisconsin player is holding a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket from the Wednesday, June 1st Powerball drawing.

The winner matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball.

Wednesday’s winning Powerball numbers were 23, 30, 33, 40 and 69 with a Powerball of 12.  The Power Play number was 5. 

The lucky winner purchased their ticket at Pick n’ Save at 6950 West State Street in Wauwatosa.  Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2% of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.

Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prizes.

The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday, June 4th. The estimated jackpot is $110 million ($72.1 million cash). Tickets must be purchased by 9:00 p.m. Saturday to be included in the drawing.

  • Plays cost $2 each
  • Tickets must be purchased by 9:00 p.m. to be included in the drawing
  • Choose five numbers between 1-69 and one Powerball number between 1-26
  • Sign your ticket and check it as soon as possible to avoid missing out on any prize you may have won
