Bill Clinton’s half-brother Roger arrested on suspicion of DUI

REDONDO BEACH, Cali. -- Roger Clinton, the half-brother of former President Bill Clinton, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Redondo Beach police officials said Monday morning.

The 59-year-old Clinton was arrested about 7:20 p.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s inmate information center.

A concerned motorist called police to report a possible DUI driver who was driving south on Pacific Coast Highway in an erratic manner, Redondo Beach police said in a news release.

The concerned motorist followed the vehicle and provided police with updates before officers caught up with the driver near the intersection of Torrance Boulevard and South Prospect Avenue.

Clinton was evaluated and eventually arrested on suspicion of DUI and later refused all chemical testing, police said.

Clinton's bail was set at $15,000, according to the sheriff’s department.

He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
