BROWN DEER — A California investor is buying a Brown Deer business park as part of a $35 million deal.

The 32-acre park at Brown Deer and Green Bay Road has eight buildings in it.

Hager Pacific Properties announced the deal on June 1st, and is also buying property in California as part of the deal.

This is their first Milwaukee-area purchase.

No plans have been announced as it relates to what they’ll do with the property.

    Hopefully this new owner can fill the buildings with tenants. I worked in that business park from 1985 to 2002 and was full of tenants and was a busy place, I was in the park a few years ago and I was like ghost town.

    Don’t think that the investor did all of his homework. There is a reason why buildings are empty.
