OZAUKEE COUNTY — Two people had to be taken to the hospital, one via Flight for Life after a crash involving two vehicles near County Highway H and County Highway KK in the Town of Port Washington.

It happened just after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6th.

Sheriff’s officials say a 40-year-old Town of Belgium woman was headed northbound on County Highway KK when she failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign to a vehicle being driven by a 57-year-old Port Washington man.

The Town of Belgium woman was taken to the hospital via ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Sheriff’s officials say she will be cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The Port Washington man was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life with serious injuries.
