WASHINGTON COUNTY — Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say there will be additional lane closures on southbound I-41/US 45, from Holy Hill Road to Freistadt Road, in Washington County on Friday evening, June 10th.

DOT officials say these lane restrictions are necessary to facilitate paving operations.

A double lane closure is scheduled for the evening hours of Friday to Saturday. During the day Saturday, this double lane closure will be replaced with a single lane closure.

The existing long-term lane closures will remain in effect over the weekend.

Also beginning Friday night, the entrance ramp from Holy Hill Road to I-41/US 45 southbound will be fully closed to build up the curve banking. The on-ramp detour is as follows:

  • Take WIS 175 southbound to Lannon Road (County Y). Turn east on Lannon Road and proceed to rejoin the freeway.

The ramp closure and the aforementioned single lane closures are anticipated to end late Sunday afternoon.
