Patient taken to hospital by Flight for Life after being struck by propeller while tubing in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC -- Officials with the Fond du Lac Fire Department say one person had to be taken to the hospital by Flight for Life after that person was hit by a propeller from a boat while tubing near Lakeside Park on Sunday afternoon, June 12th.

It happened around 3:45 p.m.

Paramedics assessed and treated the patient while en-route back to Lakeside Park where additional Fond du Lac Fire officials were waiting to assist with further treatment and transport.

Flight For Life was called in to the east softball diamond of the park where crews transported the patient via ambulance to make the exchange for further treatment and transport.

The patient was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

Fond du Lac Sheriff’s department and Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with this call.
