Milwaukee police swear in newest K-9 officer “Nando”

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department welcomed a new K-9 officer to its ranks on Friday, June 24th. “Nando” is the newest four-legged member of the force.

The K-9 and his partner, Officer Christina Marshall, have worked together through several weeks of training and they’re not ready to hit the streets.

Nando is trained to locate humans and narcotics. He was donated by philanthropist Stanley Kass.
