TMZ: Rapper 50 Cent busted for using profanity during concert in St. Kitts in the Caribbean

ST. KITTS -- Rapper 50 Cent was arrested in St. Kitts in the Caribbean on Saturday night, June 25th -- apparently for using a word that is illegal there, according to TMZ.

A representative for 50 Cent told TMZ the rapper was booked to host an event in St. Kitts on Saturday night -- not perform, but he ended up performing a concert.

According to TMZ, 50 Cent was warned not to use profanity during the performance before 40,000 people.

TMZ was told the DJ did not have a clean version of 50 Cent's set, and the rapper did not pull the mic away from his mouth when roaring the illegal profane word, and he was arrested and booked for using profanity in public.

50 Cent's rep told TMZ he has already paid his fine and has left the Caribbean for the USA.

The rep said the concert was a great success, and said "for future trips to St. Kitts, he will leave the (profanity) in the United States."

This same thing happened to DMX in 2003, according to TMZ.
