MILWAUKEE — If you thought the 4th of July would be a great day to spend at Summerfest this year, you would be wrong. The festival is shut down for one day — as fest organizers gear up for the latter half of the Big Gig. That said, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming days.

The remaining acts set to perform at the Marcus Amphitheater include:

  • Paul McCartney
  • Luke Bryan
  • Sting & Peter Gabriel
  • Weezer
  • Blink-182
  • Def Leppard

Other big names appearing on stages throughout the festival grounds include:

  • Barenaked Ladies
  • The Fray
  • Cheap Trick
  • BoDeans
  • Death Cab for Cutie
  • Jason Derulo
  • X Ambassadors
  • Common
