About MKE Fashion Incubator (website)

MKE Fashion Incubator is the brainchild of many creative women in Milwaukee. Terry Schaefer, our founder, saw a need for a fashion space in downtown Milwaukee that could serve as an educational and collaborative space.  Terry, Mary Pape, Gretchen Robers, and Brenda Schmidt are in charge of evolving the space, to include entrepreneurial meet ups, collaborating with local designers to help with patterning and manufacturing, hosting budding young fashion designers for workshops and camps, and teaching sewing to the community at large.
