Early morning fire damages Franciscan Missions in Village of Rochester



RACINE COUNTY -- Firefighters on Tuesday morning, July 26th were called out to the scene of a fire at Franciscan Missions in the Village of Rochester. The call came in around 5:50 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they encountered heavy smoke coming from the building. The residents had already evacuated.

Racine County Sheriff's officials tell FOX6 News the fire started in the lower level ceiling -- and the cause appears to be electrical.

Fire personnel from various agencies were called to assist with the flames.

No injuries to any residents or firefighters were reported.
