2 separate chases end in Milwaukee; 1 after a woman was carjacked at Walgreens in Menomonee Falls

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police made several arrests overnight after two separate chases. In one case, a stolen car was involved.

It all started around 9:30 p.m. when Menomonee Falls police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the Walgreens parking lot located on Silver Spring Drive.

The initial investigation revealed that two black males, both armed with a handgun, confronted a woman in the Walgreens parking lot.  The suspects demanded the keys to her vehicle.  The woman complied and provided the suspects with her keys.

The two suspects entered the vehicle and fled the scene eastbound on Silver Spring Drive.

At approximately 11:33 p.m., the Milwaukee Police Department located the vehicle on the far northwest side of Milwaukee and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.  The vehicle failed to pull over and a pursuit ensued.

The vehicle eventually stopped and multiple suspects fled the vehicle on foot.

Two suspects were subsequently taken into custody.  The suspects were identified as an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both from Milwaukee.

Both suspects were eventually transported to the Waukesha County Jail.  Charges of armed robbery are being pursued with the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office.

Officials are apparently looking for a third suspect.

No one was injured.

Milwaukee police were also involved in a different chase overnight -- this one ended near 60th and Howard in Milwaukee. This pursuit started in Franklin.

In this incident, it appears a black Honda was involved.

Milwaukee police could only tell us suspects are in custody -- but we're waiting on Franklin police to release more information.
