Kenosha police investigate homicide: Body found in advanced stage of decomposition at home near park

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police say the death of a man discovered inside a home on Tuesday, July 26th near Eichelman Park is being investigated as a homicide.

The man has been identified as 51-year-old Michael Gayan.

Police say an autopsy was performed on Gayan's body on Wednesday, and the results of the autopsy indicated the manner of death was a homicide.

Police say at the time of the discovery, the body was in an advanced state of decomposition -- making identification difficult.

The investigation is ongoing.
