Delays in excess of 3 miles after crash closes 2 left lanes on I-43 NB near Green Tree

GLENDALE -- A crash closed the two left lanes of I-43 NB near Green Tree Road on Wednesday evening, August 3rd.

The crash happened shortly before 5:30 p.m., according to officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Delays were reported in excess of three miles.

Officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office tell FOX6 News one person suffered a minor head laceration.

Officials with the North Shore Fire Department tell FOX6 News it was a four-car chain-reaction crash.

The scene was cleared just after 6:30 p.m.
