Police were called to the area just before 3:00 p.m.

"I quick came in the house because it really scared me," said Dianna.

"When I got over there, it was all roped off," said Robert Thompson, neighbor.

Dianna and Robert Thompson live close by. Robert walked down to see a home surrounded by police and watched with a heavy heart as a child was removed.

"They were giving it life support, pumping and pumping and pumping and I just thought 'oh my God, this ain't good,'" said Robert.

Investigators say the two-year-old child died.

Robert Thompson says a female was placed in custody.

"She was handcuffed in the back of the squad and I heard she got tasered," said Robert.

The Thompson's say they don't know the neighbors and had never seen the child.

"That poor child. It's just like, you wonder why," said Dianna.

They are saddened by what happened, hoping investigators figure out what took place.

"I'm just upset the life had to, the little person had to go for no reason like that -- that really bothers me," said Robert.

FOX6 News does not know the circumstances surrounding the child's death. We expect to learn more at a police news conference scheduled for Friday morning.
