About South Street Soapworks (website)

We believe in using time-honored methods and simple ingredients. We create our unique soaps in small batches using the cold process method. They are fragrant, mild and skin friendly!

For our Hand & Body soaps we use olive oil, coconut oil, and tallow. We also have Castile soaps made with just coconut oil, olive oil and steam distilled essential oils. Glycerin is added naturally to all of our soaps.

We use fragrance oils that are formulated for the skin that are phthalate free and paraben free. Some of our soaps and shampoo bars have steam distilled essential oils in them and some are even fragrance free.

Colorful additives such as dried herbs, flowers, lemon zest, green tea or colloidal oats are added to some soaps for a gentle scrub.

Each of our bars of soap is hand-cut and inspected so it is both pleasing to the eye and smells simply delightful!
