Students in Milwaukee receive free immunizations, school supplies at "Back-to-School Health Clinic"

MILWAUKEE -- Before heading back to school on Thursday, September 1st, students in Milwaukee were able to receive free immunizations on Monday, August 29th.

The "Back-to-School Health Clinic" took place from noon until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Westlawn Gardens East Community Room near 62nd and Silver Spring Drive.

Students received free immunizations and school supplies.

“This health clinic is a great way to kick off the school year. I’m thankful to the program’s sponsors for providing free immunizations and school supplies to Milwaukee students," Alderman Cavalier Johnson said in a statement.

The clinic was sponsored by the City of Milwaukee Health Department and the Housing Authority.
